Where we started
Micro Medical began as a project in the Health Sector Management program at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, looking at what slows new technology down inside the cath lab. The tools that prepare and treat complex coronary lesions often add equipment to the room: a generator or console to bring in, set up, maintain, and budget for. That friction decides how quickly a center can adopt a technology, and sometimes whether it can at all.
We saw a simpler path, and built a portfolio around it: differentiated coronary balloon catheters that do their job with nothing but the balloon. No console in the room, no capital-approval cycle. Our products are CE marked and available in Europe. Micro Medical was founded to bring that simplicity to more cath labs.

How we work
Micro Medical is a US company, incorporated in Massachusetts. We bring a CE-marked coronary portfolio to market under our own brand and partner with distributors across Europe, with the United States next. We work closely with our partners on product, regulatory documentation, and the support a new device needs in the field.
